1999 Washington Quarter (P)
1976 Washington Quarter (P)
The Washington Quarter has been made in 1932
The Washington Quarter on the front side has the face of the first president of the united state George Washington (Aka the man the lead just threw the American Revolution and kicked the British out). The first Washington quarters were made of silver and would remain like that until 1964 when the coinage act of 1964 pretty much ended all silver coin production. Nowadays quarters are made of a copper nickel metal, however since the introduction with the Washington bicentennial Washington quarter in 1972 have had different back symbols with several variants since then. Just look at Ur pocket change and you'll see what I mean =)
DEFECTS
On the from side of the coin on the very edge, the edge is thicker at the left and thinner on the top right side.
On the back the U in when the coin was minted the U was struck wrong when being made.
On the back in the sentence “crossroad of the revolution” when the coin was being minted it was struck wrong, and you see how some letters are incomplete or are thicker than there supposed to.
Where it says NEW JERSERY just like above the like paragraph above when the coin was being made it was struck wrong, so some letters are incomplete or have more metal than there supposed to.
